A race where the best of the best horses in New Zealand compete for Wellington’s most prestigious horse racing trophy, the Pacific Jewellers Wellington Cup, alongside the fashion, fun and friends that make this the biggest day in Wellingtons racing calendar.

Located in a prime location trackside on facilities side of the racecourse with a view directly toward the finishing line. You & your guests will be treated to a buffet style luncheon with desert & afternoon to tea not to mention a standard beverage package is also included. Tables of 10 guests are available, individual seats may be purchased and will be required to share a table.

Located on Level One of the Annex building and, offering a view toward Gazley Volkswagen Fashion in the Field on Pacific Jewellers Wellington Cup Day with easy access to the Members Stand for track viewing. A buffet style lunch, afternoon tea & standard beverage package is all on offer for Oaks Dining plus a Racing MC guides you through the day and operates your Punters Club. PARADE RING MINI MARQUEE VILLAGE: Located beside the Parade Ring

Located on the grass between the Parade Ring & the stables This village provides your chance to catch the first glimpse of the horses before they head out on the track and to help you make your winning pick. Located on the lawn surrounding the Parade Ring, Mini Marquees are for 10 guests each with a picnic style hamper delivered to your private mini marquee/s.

Located in the public stand Your covered bench seat allows seating for five people within a secure enclosure, uninhibited viewing of the racetrack with dedicated bar service. You can come and go throughout the day with the knowledge your bench seat being held for you. You will also receive a snack bag, racebook, pen & bottle of water. Be a member for the Day
Members Stand tickets can be purchased for $75 each. Tickets can be brought on the day from the Raceday office or purchased prior to raceday by ringing 0800 TRENTHAM.
Members Jackpot is back!
A great extra incentive to be at Trentham! A $250 bet for the day will be up for grabs for all Members on course for every day of the 2012 / 2013 season with a drawn name announced on the PA between Races 2 and 3. This must be claimed within 10 minutes from the race day office, however, if unclaimed, the bet will increase for the next meeting by $250 to a maximum of a $1000 bet. Any remaining Jackpot must be won on the last day of the season, with a new draw following each race continuing until the prize is claimed, until just prior to the last.
Getting there
By Train
Leaving central Wellington every 30 minutes (5 minutes past and 35 minutes past the hour), approx time from City to Trentham is 40 mins. Return trains to Wellington from Trentham also leave at 5 minutes past and 35 minutes past the hour. Click here for Metlink timetables.

By Car
Trentham Racecourse is located on Racecourse Road. Traffic Management is in place on Wellington Cup Day with vehicle access to the Racecourse Road entrances (Main gate and Members Carparks) restricted to vehicles with members ticketing or suitable hospitality options. Access is permitted for valid disabled parking cards.
Members, Owners, Jockeys & Trainers are invited to park in the Leger Car Park at the Northern end of the course. Limited parking (including disabled) is available on Racecourse Road.
Public parking is available in surrounding streets and around the "CIT" area. Centre of Course (Free ) Parking for Public is available and accessible from Alexander Road (the continuation of Messines Avenue) on the eastern side of the course.
