Saluting our Stars !
In support of what will be a most exciting thoroughbred racing season, the Wellington Racing Club and RACE Incorporated pay tribute to some of these great gallopers with "Salute to the Stars" raceday at Trentham.
Great horses deserve to be championed and we were delighted and thrilled to have 9 races at Trentham named in honour of horses that have thrilled race-goers not just at Trentham but throughout New Zealand over the past 12 months.

Members Stand tickets can be purchased for $15 each. Tickets can be brought on the day from the Raceday office or purchased prior to raceday by ringing 0800 TRENTHAM.
Unfortunately there was no return from the on-course punters club on the day. Thank you for participating. We will look to do better at the next race meeting on April 27th.

Trentham’s tiered restaurant with a stunning outlook over the Birdcage and racetrack within the Members’ Stand showcases our Chef’s expertise with a four course meal. The dress code is smart casual.

Members Jackpot is back!
A great extra incentive to be at Trentham! A $250 bet for the day will be up for grabs for all Members on course for every day of the 2012 / 2013 season with a drawn name announced on the PA between Races 2 and 3. This must be claimed within 10 minutes from the race day office, however, if unclaimed, the bet will increase for the next meeting by $250 to a maximum of a $1000 bet. Any remaining Jackpot must be won on the last day of the season, with a new draw following each race continuing until the prize is claimed, until just prior to the last.
Getting to Trentham
Leaving central Wellington every 30 minutes (5 minutes past and 35 minutes past the hour), approx time from City to Trentham is 40 mins. Return trains to Wellington from Trentham also leave at 5 minutes past and 35 minutes past the hour.Click here for Metlink timetables.
Trentham Racecourse is located on Racecourse Road. Public parking is available on Racecourse Road and surrounding areas and public are also invited to park in the Members Car park for todays meeting. Members, Owners, Jockeys & Trainers are invited to park in the Leger Car Park at the Northern end of the course plus the forecourt. Click here for Google Maps
